Cordilleran Flycatcher

Small flycatcher with a peaked crown and a teardrop-shaped eyering. Olive above and yellowish below, with 2 wingbars.

Small flycatcher with a peaked crown and a teardrop-shaped eyering. Olive above with 2 whitish wingbars.

Teardrop-shaped eyering is distinctive for this and a few other species. Cordilleran Flycatchers are almost identical to Pacific-slope Flycatchers, but separated by range.

Breeds in dry evergreen and mixed forests in interior western North America, mainly along the Rocky Mountains.
